Vietnam Train E-ticket Checklist: After Booking & Before Boarding

Quick answer: An online order records your request; the issued travel ticket contains the details you need for boarding. Keep both accessible and check the train, date, passengers and any collection instructions.
After making a booking
Look for the order reference, payment result and ticket-delivery instructions. If the issued ticket has not arrived, check your order and contact support before making another payment. Avoid assuming that an email receipt is the travel ticket.
Read the issued ticket
Compare the departure and arrival date, station, train number, operator, seat or berth class, total price and ticket conditions. A payment receipt or booking request is not a substitute for an issued travel ticket. Follow the delivery and collection instructions supplied for your booking.
Before leaving for the station
Save the ticket file offline and bring the identification used to reserve it. Follow any printing, collection or operator meeting instructions. Allow time for traffic, finding the carriage and checking the platform.
If details or plans change
Contact the seller shown on the booking. Corrections, changes and refunds depend on the ticket and operator; do not create a replacement booking until you understand the existing order’s status. See the booking guide for the complete search-to-ticket process.
